• เมื่อพระองค์ทอดพระเนตรเห็นความเชื่อของเขาทั้งหลาย พระองค์จึงตรัสกับคนอัมพาตว่า "บุรุษเอ๋ย บาปของเจ้าได้รับการอภัยแล้ว"
  5:20 and he having seen their faith, said to him, 'Man, thy sins have been forgiven thee.'
• ทันใดนั้นคนอัมพาตได้ลุกขึ้นแล้วก็ยกแคร่เดินออกไปต่อหน้าคนทั้งปวง คนทั้งปวงก็ประหลาดใจนัก จึงสรรเสริญพระเจ้าว่า "เราไม่เคยเห็นการเช่นนี้เลย"
  2:12 And he got up, and straight away took up the bed and went out before them all, so that they were all full of wonder, and gave glory to God, saying, We have never seen anything like this.

  19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.

  9:6 'But, that ye may know that the Son of Man hath power upon the earth to forgive sins -- (then saith he to the paralytic) -- having risen, take up thy couch, and go to thy house.'
• เมื่อเขาเข้าไปให้ถึงพระองค์ไม่ได้เพราะคนมาก เขาจึงรื้อดาดฟ้าหลังคาตรงที่พระองค์ประทับนั้น และเมื่อรื้อเป็นช่องแล้ว เขาก็หย่อนแคร่ที่คนอัมพาตนอนอยู่ลงมา
  2:4 When they could not come near to him for the crowd, they removed the roof where he was. When they had broken it up, they let down the mat that the paralytic was laying on.

  5:24 'And that ye may know that the Son of Man hath authority upon the earth to forgive sins -- (he said to the one struck with palsy) -- I say to thee, Arise, and having taken up thy little couch, be going on to thy house.'

  24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
