สมัยกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์ พุทธศักราช 2386 พระบาทสมเด็จพระนั่งเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 3 ทรงตั้งเมืองพะเยาเป็นเมืองขึ้นของนครลำปาง ผู้ครองเมืองนครลำปางทุกคนได้รับพระราชทานนามว่า “พระยาประเทศอุดรทิศ” Na Bua Waterfall and Huai Ton Phueng Waterfall is originated from Thansawan Waterfall which is located above Baan Bo Bia, called Ton Nam Bo Bia.
