โครงการบ้านพักพิง โรนัลด์ แมคโดนัลด์ เฮาส์ เพื่อครอบครัวผู้ป่วยเด็ก ในประเทศไทย ริเริ่มขึ้นในปี พ.ศ.2553 เพื่อให้ครอบครัวได้อยู่พร้อมหน้ากันในยามวิกฤติเมื่อลูกป่วยหนัก โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์คือ Ronald McDonald House program in Thailand has initiated in 2010 and it is the “home-away-from-home” for families where they can stay close to their hospitalized children with a serious medical crisis.
