เทพแห่งความตาย ต้องถูกนำขึ้นมาบนโลกนี้ ตอนเที่ยงคืน ผ่านสถานที่ที่มีการนองเลือด The angel of death must be brought into this world at midnight through a place of awful carnage.
นี่คือ เทพแห่งความตาย This is... this is the angel of death,
ฉันเป็นยมทูตของนายนะ I am your angel of death.
นี่ ฉันเป็นยมฑูตนะ Hey! I'm the Angel of Death.
จงกล่าวเถิดมุฮัมมัด “มะลักผู้ปลิดชีวิต ผู้ได้รับมอบหมายเกี่ยวกับพวกท่าน จะปลิดชีวิตของพวกท่าน แล้วพวกท่านจะถูกนำกลับไปยังพระเจ้าของพวกท่าน " Say, "The angel of death will take you who has been entrusted with you. Then to your Lord you will be returned."
จากความหมายที่เปิดกว้างของฮะดีษข้างต้นทำให้สันนิษฐานได้ว่า มะลิกุ้ลเมาต์จะเก็บชีวิตของทุกสิ่งมีชีวิตในโลก แม้กระทั่งสิ่งมีชีวิตที่มิไช่มนุษย์ This hadith implies and strengthens the possibility that the angel of death takes the lives of all living things, even those who aren’t human.
ท่านอมีรุ้ลมุอ์มินีน อลี(อ.) กล่าวไว้ว่า “...จงรู้เพียงว่า อัลลอฮ์เป็นผู้ให้ชีวิตและเก็บชีวิต พระองค์ทรงเรียกคืนชีวิตผ่านผู้ปฏิบัติการ ซึ่งอาจเป็นมะลาอิกะฮ์หรือไม่ก็ได้”[12] Imam Ali (as) says: “…all you need to know is that Allah (swt) is the one who gives life and takes it, and is free to do so through whoever He desires, regardless of whether who He does it through is the angel of death or not.”[12]
