29 แต่ว่าทุกๆประชาชาติยังสร้างรูปพระของตนเอง และตั้งไว้ในนิเวศแห่งปูชนียสถานสูงซึ่งชาวสะมาเรียได้สร้างไว้ ทุกๆประชาชาติในหัวเมืองที่เขาอาศัยอยู่ 29 Howbeit every nation made gods of their own, and put them in the houses of the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in their cities wherein they dwelt.
35 ถึงกระนั้นปูชนียสถานสูงก็ยังมิได้ถูกกำจัดเสีย ประชาชนยังถวายสัตวบูชาและเผาเครื่องหอมบนปูชนียสถานสูงนั้น พระองค์ทรงสร้างประตูบนของพระนิเวศแห่งพระเยโฮวาห์ 35 Howbeit the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burned incense still in the high places. He built the higher gate of the house of the LORD.
