8 เราจะตัดผู้ที่อาศัยอยู่ออกเสียจากอัชโดด และผู้ที่ถือคทาออกจากเมืองอัชเคโลน เราจะหันมือของเราต่อสู้เอโครน ชาวฟีลิสเตียที่เหลืออยู่จะพินาศ" องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แหละ 8 And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.

5 เราจะหักดาลประตูเมืองดามัสกัส และตัดผู้ที่อาศัยอยู่ออกเสียจากที่ราบอาเวน และผู้นั้นที่ถือคทาจากวงศ์วานของเอเดน และประชาชนซีเรียจะต้องตกไปเป็นเชลยยังเมืองคีร์" พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้แหละ 5 I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD.
