Flower head surrounded by leaf wrappers. Bisexual flowers are yellow (different shades), pinkish, orange color. After the flowers ripen in place, a fruit is formed from an elongated achene, hairs, about 1.5 mm long. The top is decorated with a crest of yellow hairs. The total weight (1000 seeds) is 0.06 g.
