The rear has a prominent late 18th century extension covered by the catslide roof.
The south end of the house has a sloping catslide roof, also of Horsham slab.
Close by is the Grade II listed Marsh House, an 18th-century building with a symmetrical front and a slated catslide roof.
To the east of the house is a single-storey extension with a catslide roof and an arched entrance giving access to rear of the buildings; over the entrance is a timber framed gable.
The rear of the range was extended, evidently in the 19th Century, from random sandstone rubble walling under a full'catslide'stone flag roof, and this extension had a floor over creating a loft : this loft was accessed from the first floor and was lain with compressed straw and other material.
