บทบัญญัติมาตรา 10 (4) และ (5) จะไม่ใช้บังคับหากผู้ขอแปลงสัญชาติเป็นไทย;
The provisions of Section 10 (4) and (5) shall not apply if the applicant for naturalisation as a Thai;
คนต่างด้าวที่มีคุณสมบัติดังต่อไปนี้อาจขอแปลงสัญชาติเป็นไทยได้:
An alien who possesses the following qualifications may apply for naturalisation as a Thai:
มีภูมิลำเนาในราชอาณาจักรไทยติดต่อกันเป็นเวลาไม่น้อยกว่าห้าปี จนถึงวันยื่นขอแปลงสัญชาติ;
having a domicile in the Thai Kingdom for a consecutive period of not less than five years till the day of applying for naturalisation;
