คือทำลายความคิด และทิฐิมานะทุกประการที่ตั้งตัวขึ้นขัดขวางความรู้ของพระเจ้า และน้อมนำความคิดทุกประการให้เข้าอยู่ใต้บังคับจนถึงเชื่อฟังพระคริสต์ 10:5 throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;
พระเยซูตรัสตอบว่า "โอ คนในยุคที่ขาดความเชื่อและมีทิฐิชั่ว เราจะต้องอยู่กับท่านทั้งหลายนานเท่าใด เราจะต้องอดทนเพราะท่านไปถึงไหน จงพาเด็กนั้นมาหาเราที่นี่เถิด" 17:17 Jesus answered, 'Faithless and perverse generation! How long will I be with you? How long will I bear with you? Bring him here to me.'
การศึกษาที่ดีจักช่วยป้องกันไม่ให้หลงใหลไปเป็นมิจฉาทิฐิ ไม่นับถือหรือเชื่อสิ่งผิดๆ เพราะมีพระพุทธธรรมเป็นเครื่องสกัดกั้นความตกต่ำ และคอยชี้หนทางที่ถูกต้องให้อยู่ตลอดเวลา Good learning helps one not to get lost in wrong view. They don’t believe or have faith in things that are wrong. This is because they have the Buddha-Dhamma to stop them from falling lower, and it puts them on the right path at all times.
