ประเทศ ในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้อย่างเช่น ไทย พม่า กัมพูชา งานเทศกาลก็จะคล้ายๆกันแต่จะเรียกแตกต่างกันไป อย่างไทยก็จะเรียกว่าสงกรานต์ หรือตรุษสงกรานต์ ของลาว กัมพูชาเรียก โจล ชนัม ขแมร์ พม่าเรียก ติงจัง In other parts of Southeast Asia, like in Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia, similar New Year Festivals take place but with different names. In Thailand they have the Songkran Festival, which is also a name sometimes used in Laos, in Cambodia they celebrate Chaul Chnam Thmey and in Myanmar the same festival is called Thingyan.
