Lannea humilis are open grass savanna combined with short annual grasses.
Bark extracts of " Lannea coromandelica " caused lysis of cell membranes followed by fragmentation of cellular materials.
The larvae have been reared on " Lannea coromandelica " and possibly also feed on " Rhizophora " species.
Teak ( Tectona grandis ), and associated species such as Madhuca indica, Diospyros melanoxylon, Terminalia tomentosa, Buchanania lanzan, Lagerstroemia parviflora, Ougeinia dalbergoides, Miliusa velutina and Lannea coromandalica, occur on flat terrain.
With the above topographic, climatic and soil settings, the vegetation types which cover the park are categorized under five broad types of open " combretaceous " shrub savanna, " anogeissus leiocarpus " woodland, " lannea humilis " open grass savanna, " acacia seyal " tree savanna and Ya閞?floodplains with perennial grasses.
