• Lannea humilis are open grass savanna combined with short annual grasses.
• Bark extracts of " Lannea coromandelica " caused lysis of cell membranes followed by fragmentation of cellular materials.
• The larvae have been reared on " Lannea coromandelica " and possibly also feed on " Rhizophora " species.
• Teak ( Tectona grandis ), and associated species such as Madhuca indica, Diospyros melanoxylon, Terminalia tomentosa, Buchanania lanzan, Lagerstroemia parviflora, Ougeinia dalbergoides, Miliusa velutina and Lannea coromandalica, occur on flat terrain.
• With the above topographic, climatic and soil settings, the vegetation types which cover the park are categorized under five broad types of open " combretaceous " shrub savanna, " anogeissus leiocarpus " woodland, " lannea humilis " open grass savanna, " acacia seyal " tree savanna and Ya閞?floodplains with perennial grasses.
