• Alunite, topaz, zunyite, tourmaline, enargite and tennantite may also occur.
• Enargite is also found at Choquelimpie.
• Enargite was originally described as a new species from the copper mines of the San Francisco vein, Junin Department, Peru.
• Some arsenic exists in elemental form, but most arsenic is found in the arsenic minerals orpiment, realgar, arsenopyrite, and enargite.
• Chalcocite has been known to form pseudomorphs of the minerals bornite, covellite, chalcopyrite, pyrite, enargite, millerite, galena and sphalerite.
• The minerals identified at the site include : haematite, chalcopyrite, tennantite, galena, tetrahedrite, bornite, pyrite, marcasite, enargite and sphalerite.
• It will contain arsenic which could well incur smelter penalties in the early years because of the enargite ( Cu3AsS4 ) in the top of the deposit.

• Initially discovered by Sir Arthur Russell in 1954 at Hingston Down Consols mine in Calstock, Cornwall, England, arthurite is formed as a resultant mineral in the oxidation region of some copper deposits by the variation of enargite or arsenopyrite.
