• Among the flora recorded are 417 species of trees, several species of orchids and species of medicinal plants; 179 species of phytoplankton belonging to Chorophyta, Cyanophyta, Bacillariophyta, Euglenophyta, Pyrrophyta and Chrysophyta have been observed in the lake as well.
• In total, 118 species and taxa of microalgae are registered in the Tylihul Estuary : Diatom algae-51 species, Dinophyta-31 species, Chlorophyta-13 species, Chrysophyta-8 species, Cyanobacteria-7 species, Cryptophyta-6 species, Euglenophyta-2 species.
