• Along with cyclophilin, FKBPs belong to the immunophilin family.
• Ciclosporin binds to the cytosolic protein cyclophilin ( immunophilin ) of lymphocytes, especially T cells.
• Ciclosporin is thought to bind to the cytosolic protein cyclophilin ( an immunophilin ) of immunocompetent lymphocytes, especially T-lymphocytes.
