- Many antimony ores are sulfides, including stibnite ( ), pyrargyrite ( ), zinkenite, jamesonite, and boulangerite.
- Older specimens could be either boulangerite, jamesonite or zinkenite ( Pb 2 Sb 2 S 5, sulfosalt mineral ).
- "' Jamesonite "'is a sulfosalt mineral, a lead, iron, antimony sulfide with formula Pb 4 FeSb 6 S 14.
- It was first described for an occurrence in Wheal Boys in the parish of St Endellion in Cornwall, it was found associated with jamesonite, sphalerite and siderite.
- It occurs associated with pyrite, sphalerite, wurtzite, galena, stibnite, orpiment, realgar, enargite, tetrahedrite, zinkenite, jordanite, bournonite, sterryite, boulangerite, jamesonite and sartorite at Madoc.
- Madocite is found in small clusters in marble pits ( near Madoc, Ontario ), and was originally categorized in the 1920s as an unidentified sulfosalt mineral in an assemblage of pyrite, sphalerite, and jamesonite in marble.
