• Konini is enclosed in lush bush at the western ends and tranquil suburban streets to the east.
• During the 1990s, the remains of W D 356 were discovered at Konini, near Pahiatua.
• In-zone suburbs include Titirangi, Laingholm, most of Glen Eden and nearby Konini and Kaurilands.
• It connects with West Coast Road, Shaw Road, Konini Road and Piha Road to the surf beaches at Karekare and Piha.
• On the south-eastern face of the mountain, Manaia Road gives access to Dawson Falls and the Konini Lodge, at 890 m altitude.
