• Take the hypothetical example of a bot converting mebibytes to megabytes.
• So-Mebibyte is the " binary megabyte ".
• The mebibyte is closely related to the megabyte.
• It was a 2 mebibyte add-on and contained about 700 drum sounds.
• Or more specifically, 352 MiB ( mebibytes, binary megabytes, 2 20 bytes ).
• The latter term is often used as a synonym for mebibyte, but it formally refers to 1000 kilobytes, or 1, 000, 000 bytes.
