• Metcon was found by Ahron Nahmias in 1985 to sell chemical feed to municipalities and the private sector.
• He bought a commercial roofing company, BMI-Metcon, in the summer of 1999 . He was so into it, he even went to the office in his cleats between two-a-day practices at Arrowhead Stadium.
