punner การใช้
- We still use word pairs in which the-ster suggests ( sometimes disparagingly ) greater persistence in an activity; joker vs . jokester, punner vs . punster.
- :My theory : Once one has devised a pun ( which must be one of bad, awful, or " oh god, that's so painful I must now kill you "-there is no such thing as a good pun ) the punner feels an irresistable urge to share the pun.
- The clay is laid down with a tool called a'punner', or'pun', a large rectangular block on a handle about long, or trodden down, or compacted by some other means ( e . g . by an excavator using the convex outside of its scoop, or, historically, by driving cattle across the area ).
- This is because the punner has already experienced the pain of the pun ( and it must cause pain, since it belongs in one of the catgeories I mentioned above ) and the punner therefore feels a need to share their pain with others .
