zonule การใช้
- The zonules are primarily made of fibrillin, a connective tissue protein.
- The zonule fibers relax and the lens becomes more spherical, increasing its power to refract light for near vision.
- When colour granules are displaced from the Zonules of Zinn ( by friction against the lens ), the irises slowly fade.
- As the crystalline lens hardens with age, the lens zonules pull away from the iris and the syndrome lessens and stops.
- When the muscle s relaxed, the lens is stretched ( flattened ) by the zonule fibers that connect to the ciliary muscle.
- The lens is suspended to the ciliary body by the suspensory ligament ( Zonule of Zinn ), made up of hundreds of fine transparent fibers which transmit muscular forces to change the shape of the lens for accommodation ( focusing ).
- The zonules attach to the lens capsule 2mm anterior and 1 mm posterior to the equator, and arise from the pars plana region of the ciliary epithelium and pass forward closely related to the lateral surfaces of the ciliary process of the pars plicata.
- Other books followed, including " The X in Sex : How the X Chromosome Controls Our Lives " in 2003, which won the American Association of Medical Writers'Prize and " Beyond the Zonules of Zinn : A Fantastic Journey Through Your Brain " in 2008.
