• In the winter of 1991 she entered the Ergomania Indoor Rowing Machine contest in Seattle, a satellite contest for the Crash-B Erg Sprint Championship in Boston.
• In the winter the team hosted an Erg-A-Thon and seven rowers traveled up to Seattle for the Ergomania indoor competition where two Ducks brought home the distinction for  The Fastest College Female,  and  The Fastest College Male .
