• ""'Haplopappus foliosus " "'is a species of flowering plant in the Asteraceae family that is endemic to Chile.
• The species of " Pyrrocoma " were previously considered members of genus " Haplopappus " but were separated out into their own genus . " Pyrrocoma " are perennial plants with reddish stems and yellow daisy-like flowers.
• Annotations on the type specimen of " Haplopappus nealleyi " in the US National Herbarium, on which the genus " Stanfieldia " and sole species " Stanfieldia nealleyi " were also based, suggest that these later names may be synonyms of " Clappia suaedifolia ".
