  • If you get it to work at all, you will have to do a lot of checking, correction, and editing on even the best recogniser output.
  • For questions such as " Who " or " Where ", a Named Entity Recogniser is used to find relevant " Person " and " Location " names from the retrieved documents.

  • Whichever metric is used, however, one major theoretical problem in assessing the performance of a system, is deciding whether a word has been  mis-pronounced,  i . e . does the fault lie with the user or with the recogniser.
  • Whether the recogniser is also the biological father of the child is irrelevant; the legislature intended to create with the process of the recognition of paternity the possibility for legal paternity for men that fill an actual father role ( " social father " ), in the absence of a biological father ( for example in blended families ).
  • Part of the reason for its success is that you tell it ( or sometimes it tries to infer ) which natural language the text is written in, and it runs all the text its recogniser emits through a dictionary-as with any such automatically-fix-errors strategy, it takes badly to unfamiliar words and particularly words or names in foreign languages.
