ribotyping การใช้
- 18 . Garaizar J, Kaufmann ME, Pitt TL . Comparison of ribotyping with conventional methods for the type identification of Enterobacter cloacae.
- Ribotyping : This method involves amplification of a known sequence cut by restriction enzymes, and compares restriction fragments of amplified DNA from different strains.
- Several molecular typing schemes have been proposed to determine the relatedness of pathogens such as pulsed-field gel electrophoresis ( PFGE ), ribotyping, and PCR-based fingerprinting.
- Conceptually, ribotyping is similar to probing restriction fragments of chromosomal DNA with cloned probes ( randomly cloned probes or probes derived from a specific coding sequence such as that of a virulence factor ).
- The application of molecular techniques such as the polymerase chain reaction to produce DNA fingerprints and other 16S ribosomal RNA gene ( ribotyping ) methods of strain analysis have been employed to differentiate " P . penneri " from " P . vulgaris " and " P . mirabilis " strains.
- Some of the molecular methods used in species identification are repetitive extragenic palindromic sequence-based PCR, ribotyping, pulsed field gel electrophoresis ( PFGE ), random amplified polymorphic DNA, amplified fragment length polymorphism ( AFLP ), restriction and sequence analysis of tRNA and 16S-23S rRNA gene spacers and amplified 16S ribosomal DNA restriction analysis ( ARDRA ).
